Biography:
Walt graduated with a B.S. Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University. He worked for a consulting engineering firm before joining the Division of Water Quality in 1984. He was appointed Division Director and Executive Secretary of the Water Quality Board in April 2005. He serves on the Western States Water Council, the Association of State and Interstate Water Pollution Control Administrators (ASIWPCA) board of directors, the national Water Quality Standards Managers Association and the Utah Lake Commission. He is a licensed professional engineer in Utah.
